Optimization Study of Internal Cooling Structure of Ball Screw Sub for CNC Machine Tools

Abstract

Abstract As the core component of CNC machine tool transmission, ball screws are of great significance for CNC machine tools in terms of transmission accuracy. When the machine tool continues to work, the ball screw will inevitably generate high temperature, thus thermal expansion phenomenon, thus affecting the quality of machining products.in order to solve the problem of ball screw pair temperature rise, a screw with spiral internal cooling structure was designed, the results show that the surface temperature of the screw is not lower, but more uniform. The temperature distribution in the radial direction of the screw internal cooling structure is more balanced than that of the hollow internal cooling structure, and the overall cooling effect is more obvious.
