Abstract
Abstract
The aqueous sols and composite organic-inorganic coatings containing PbI2 nanoparticles (size ∼ 4 nm) have been prepared. The absorption, photoluminescence and nonlinear transmittance (at 532 nm wavelength) have been studied. The electronic absorption spectra of PbI2/PVP sols showed major peak of ground state near 406 nm, which slightly blue shift with decreasing size. Obtained materials are characterized high transparency in visible spectral range and demonstrate quantum confinement effect. PbI2/PVP composite films manifested dependence of radiation resistance with PVP content at ns-laser exposure and size dependence of nonlinear transmittance.
