Abstract
The paper presents the results of a numerical and experimental study of the processes of mixing and combustion in a model combustion chamber under conditions of multi-jet injection of hydrogen into supersonic (M = 4) external flow. Numerical simulation is performed for the conditions of experiments conducted in a high-enthalpy short-duration facility IT-302M. Joint analysis of experimental and calculated data allows us to obtain new data on the structure of the flow and describe the process of ignition and flame propagation through the channel of the combustion chamber under the conditions of unsteady (falling) input conditions.
