Abstract

Abstract In this paper we introduce the concept of mid-units in seminearrings. We obtain some results concerning mid-units in seminearrings. In particular, we study the relationship between mid-units and idempotents in seminearrings. We derive a necessary and sufficient condition for duo seminearrings to have a mid-unit.
