Abstract
Abstract
The article shows the feasibility of using wireless networks in the field of construction monitoring. It is established that there is a need to increase the data transmission rate over the network in order to collect readings from distributed sensors in order to timely detect defects in building structures. An experiment with predefined parameters for the size of the transmitted packets was conducted using a software implementation of a model of network throughput assessment.
