Abstract
Abstract
In this article two dimensional heat equation is solved using finite difference method for the metals such as gold, zinc, tin, marble and bronze. Dirichlet conditions are applied on the boundaries of the rectangular plate. The problem is solved for different metals and the comparison is made for reaching the steady state.
