Abstract
Abstract
Scaffolding is an essential temporary measure in engineering construction, and its safety management is critical in the construction process. In this paper, the overall scaffolding model is simulated and analyzed by SAP2000 finite element software. The difference in force between the scaffolding under static wind load and time-range wind load is obtained so that the wind vibration coefficient of the scaffolding is suggested. The results show that the most influential factor in the stability of the scaffold is the way in which the wall elements are arranged. At the same time, the most favorable arrangement is a two-step, two-span arrangement of the wall elements, a 50° angle of scissor bracing, and a wind protection factor of 0.8 for the safety net. Also, the wind vibration factor βz should be taken as 2.5 instead of 1 in the scaffolding code for close-meshed scaffolding at a height of 50 m.
