Abstract
A response to Alexander Mendelsohn’s feature article “A physicist’s experience of the mental-health system”, which describes the author’s poor experience of treatment and explains his views that the system’s approach to researching mental illness and diagnosing and treating patients is not scientific, as compared with how physics research is done.
