Abstract
Hermite-Cosh-Gaussian (H-ch-G) laser pulse is proposed for effective electron acceleration and energy gain by exploring its low order axisymmetric modes in vacuum. The intensity distribution of H-ch-G laser is influenced by the TEM(m, n) modes ordered Hermite polynomial, decentered parameter (b) controlled Cosh function and Gaussian beam function. The increase in decentered parameter b associated with Cosh function, changes its properties from fundamental Gaussian(b = 0) to more complex Gaussian types with ring-shaped (b ∼ 2) forms. As a result, it operates well enough to quickly accelerate electrons to exceedingly high energies in a short period of time. The laser pulse order TEM00, TEM01 or TEM10 are the low order axisymmetric modes of H-ch-G laser beam. The analytic results show that altering the mode indices (m, n) and decentered parameter (b) combination leads to a remarkable rise in electron energy with laser intensity (∼
