With the advent of the information age and the era of knowledge economy, engineering project management in the 21st century is bound to move towards information management, and the core competitiveness of project management is also increasingly dependent on information technology. In view of this, the difficulties in the process of engineering project management informatization are analysed and the significance of its construction is pointed out. On this basis, the content, influencing factors and countermeasures of engineering project management informatization construction are discussed.
