Effect of benzotriazolyl fragments on properties of thermoreactive benzotriazolylsuccinimides

Abstract

Abstract An effect from the introduction of the benzotriazolyl fragments into the structure of thermoreactive resins based on benzotriazols and molar excesses of hexamethylene-bismaleimide was revealed. A change of thermal characteristics and improving mechanical properties and adhesion of the cured thermally glue layers to the surfaces of metallic samples made of Steel-3 were found. Such a conclusion was made from the data of the thermal analyzes and mechanical testes, when compared the samples made of both ‘pure’ hexamethylene-bismaleimide and the ones containing benzotriazolyl fragments.
