In this paper, it explored the interactions between water droplet and soap film. Three types of interactions: merging (droplet and film merges after interaction), bouncing (droplet bounces off the film) and passing (droplet pass through the film) are mainly examined, and how the mass and impact velocity of water droplet will affect the film deformation are studied. After understanding the importance of surface tension and Weber number, both simulation and experiment are used to verify the theory and to interpret the phenomena of droplet-film interactions.
