Progress of ecological environment protection and restoration in China’s Giant Panda National Park

Abstract

Abstract Giant panda is the world’s flagship species for biodiversity conservation and a unique national first-class protected animal in China. The construction of Giant Panda National Park is of great significance to the protection and restoration of the integrity of giant panda habitat and the improvement of China’s natural reserve system. At present, the protection and restoration of the giant panda national park ecosystem are mainly reflected in the park planning, management organization construction, and national park legislation. This paper summarizes the progress of the construction of the Giant Panda National Park from 2016, and proposes relevant solutions to the existing problems.
