Abstract
This paper aims to present the development of a professional interior architecture program for a post-graduate level at a Public University in Malaysia and fulfil the gap between academic learning and industry requirements. This study aims to instil professional requirements based on the industry stakeholders needs and practices. The methodology used in this study is a content analysis of Accreditation Board requirements, program mapping with MQF 2.0 & future outcomes domain, sustainable development goals, Education 5.0 UiTM and industry survey questionnaires to related stakeholders of industry professionals. The validation of findings was conducted with curriculum experts of the Central Curriculum Committee of the University. The results aim to indicate the requirements stated by policy and act and fulfil the gap between academia and the industry.
