Abstract

Abstract This article is devoted to identifying the factors that have the greatest impact on the dynamics of the rural areas labor potential in the region by using methods of economic and mathematical modeling. A statistically significant multiple regression model was obtained, it determined that such factors as the provision of rural residents with housing and the total population of the region mostly influence the number of labor resources. Checking the significance of the obtained equation was determined by using the multiple correlation coefficient, determination, Fisher’s F-criterion. The assessment of the regression coefficients significance was carried out on the basis of the Student’s t-test. Average indicators of elasticity allowed to build factors according to the strength of their impact on the result.
