Abstract
Abstract
Owing to the unique properties, carbon nanotubes (CNTs) have been widely reported as a desirable adsorbent for environmental pollutants removal. In this paper, the synthetic strategies of different kinds of CNTs and CNTs based composites, as well as their application in tetracycline antibiotics (TCs) removal were discussed. The adsorption process, performance, influence factors involved in the adsorption of tetracycline (TC) are highlighted in this review. In addition, the adsorption mechanism and limitations in adsorption TCs with CNTs are discussed.
