In this paper, the comprehensive benefit evaluation index system of pumped storage power station will be established from four aspects: operation effect, functional benefit, financial benefit and environmental benefit. The improved sequence relationship analysis method will be combined with entropy weight method, and TOPSIS will be used to establish comprehensive evaluation model to quantitatively evaluate the comprehensive benefit of pumped storage power station in the power system. Then, through the analysis of the results of typical case studies, it is concluded that the index to be strengthened and the index that has reached the standard for power station, which is convenient for targeted measures to improve the comprehensive benefits of the power station in the future.
