Abstract
Abstract
The article examines the problem of destruction and deformation of the banks of the Swanley Canal under the influence of backed-up groundwater filtration. An analysis of the current state of the canal and the dynamics of changes in groundwater levels along the canal bed was carried out. A hydraulic calculation of filtration flow was carried out and a method was proposed to reduce the negative impact of groundwater levels on the integrity of the canal.
