Abstract
Abstract
Concrete paving block is one of the environmental surface coverings that is widely used by people in Indonesia. Besides being easy to install, concrete pavement also has a relatively cheap price, but is not optimal in absorbing water. This research was conducted to determine the comparison of concrete pavement materials made by small and medium enterprises and its ability to absorb water. Water absorption tests were carried out on two types of concrete pavement samples with different sand:gravel:cement ratios. From the test results it is known that concrete pavement with a smaller amount of sand has a greater water absorption percentage (14.24%). The results of this research can be used in the development of permeable pavement which can be carried out by researchers.
