Simeulue waters is an island directly on Indian Ocean border. These waters are a yellowfin tuna migration area and a target area for tuna fishermen of the South West coast of Aceh. Increased fishing can decrease the production. This research aimed to integrate the sustainable use of yellowfin tuna. The direct observation method refers to the sustainability status based on fishing technology. The findings of this study indicate the value of the sustainability status of the fishing technology aspect is 80.63. This value included in the good sustainable category. Furthermore, there are eight attributes used by researcher, namely fishing gear mobility, fishing gear strength, post-fishing handling, fish landed before being marketed, fishing gear selectivity, destructive fishing gear usage, machine capacity used by fishermen, equipment technology used by fishermen.
