Abstract
Abstract
This research aims to determine high density geopolymer concrete, utilising abundance industrial waste material such as FA, GGBS and POFA as binder content of the concrete producing high density geopolymer concrete. This will provide for a more sustainable alternatives and eco-friendly option for construction structure. The concrete tested for various testing to assess its quality and engineering properties such as density, compressive strength and some of durability tests such as water absorption and sorptivity. The results indicated that the compressive strength of the POFA/slag-based concrete was in range of 33 to 45 MPa, whereas the density was found about 2700 kg/m3. The increase of POFA replacement the increase of the water absorption.
