Abstract
Abstract
in modern times hydrocarbon production in fields with hard-to-recover reserves is actively being implemented. This trend is caused by the depletion of conventional reserves, which increases every year of operation. In Russia, most of the hard-to-recover reserves belong to deposits with low-permeability channels and deteriorated reservoir properties. The cost-effective utilization of such subsoil resources is only possible using special technologies that can increase well productivity. One of the most commonly used technologies is hydraulic fracturing (HFT). This study analyzed the impact of HFT on the creation of highly permeable channels as a stimulation method. The methodology for the selection of well candidates for HFT was identified, its effectiveness and practical significance were evaluated.
