Abstract
Abstract
Using the methods of spectrophotometry and spectrofluorimetry, samples of five Gatchina water sources and samples of melted snow taken in a residential area, the city center and near the central highway were studied in the paper. Both methods have demonstrated their informativeness in the analysis of differences in pollution of different water sources. Contamination of samples of melted snow with oil products is clearly shown in the analysis of the registration and excitation fluorescence spectra. To detect pollution of water sources by oil products contained in melted snow, it is proposed to determine the ratios of fluorescence intensity in the spectra of registration and excitation at certain wavelengths.
