A regional outlook on state policy stimulating introduction of innovative technologies in agriculture

Abstract

Abstract This article presents the results of a study of state policy stimulating introduction of innovative technologies, as well as improving innovative processes in agriculture in the regions of the Russian Federation. The paper presents and describes in detail the main types and directions of the state innovation policy and defines their features. In addition, it reveals the issues related to the forms of state participation and support of innovations in the Russian agroindustrial complex. The study also analyzes the volume of state funding and support for the development of innovations carried out in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a region of the Russian Federation, using digital indicators. Certain areas of financing of innovative processes are considered, noting modern trends in innovative areas supported and additionally financed by the state. The tendencies of state support of innovative processes in agriculture of the Krasnoyarsk Territory are determined, taking into account the specific volumes of funds provided directly to agricultural producers. The study also identifies difficulties, problems, and obstacles that slow down the pace of innovation in the agroindustrial complex of the Russian Federation, hinder the development and competitiveness of agricultural enterprises and goods in the international market.
