Abstract
Abstract
The effect of stocking density on the growth of common carp (Cyprinus carpio) in cages was studied. Common carp yearlings (22 g) from the pond hatchery were stocked at 30, 60, 90 ind./m3 (in triplicate). Fish were fed with “Huvalon siliao” aquafeed (Uzbekistan) (35% protein) with ratio 3% of the fish biomass per day. The growth rates of fish in different variants, both in absolute terms and in relative terms (growth rate, specific growth rate), were the same. Carp yearlings were brought from a pond fish nursery and planted evenly in cages. A week was allo-cated as a period of adaptation of fish to the conditions of cages, during this period they were fed at the rate of 3% of the fish biomass. At the beginning of the experiment (May 10) the fish were planted in 30, 60, 90 yearlings of carp in a cage (in triple repetition), the average individual weight of carp (w1, g) in each of the nine cages was 22 g.
