Operational improvement of coil type direct-flow steam generator by using chemical water treatment system

Abstract

Abstract Strict requirements to the feed water for the coil type direct-flow steam generator imply a good quality of preparation, which is difficult to achieve with the usual filters. Deposit formation on the coil surface makes wonder about choosing the best method of chemical water treatment for a steam generator of this type. This article presents the results of calculations of filters of various types for water purification, which are designed for providing standard chemical measures of heat carrier. The results of modeling the coil during the movement of chemically purified and source water are displayed. The optimal variant of chemical purification of feed water is proposed.
