Abstract
Abstract
Several community-based waste management strategies in urban areas are well known. However, if examined on a micro basis, it is time to develop micro household waste management which is related to efforts to relax social impacts during the pandemic. Development research (R and D) is applied in this study. Through the Research and Development method, thisis study aims to obtain a model of household micro-waste management and social relaxation efforts due to the Corona Virus-19 pandemic in DKI Jakarta.. Until the end of the first semester of 2020, the results of the study showed that: (1) the community-based waste management model in DKI Jakarta places more emphasis on sorting and processing waste at Temporary Disposal Sites (TPS), towards the development of waste banks and waste recycling, and (2) The effectiveness of the community-based waste management model requires several strategic interventions, namely: funders (funders), direct practice, collaborators, regional organizations, and local governments.
