The green economy and blue economy: a model of sustainable development strategy in mining area of the island province

Abstract

Abstract The decision to choose the right strategy model will determine the success of a region’s development in the long term. This study aims to plan a model of a sustainable development strategy. The strategy model is used in the Tin Producing Province of the Bangka Belitung Islands. The method used in this study is qualitative. So that an appropriate strategy model can be produced. The Government must prepare for the realization of sustainable development. The government must also put in place the realization of sustainable development. We found the collaboration of The Green Economy and Blue Economy. The Green Economy and Blue Economy is the right choice of model. This is a manifestation of the implementation of sustainable development. Another finding from this study is the formulation of economic sectors. The economic sector is in the Green Economy and Blue Economy. These sectors support the realization of sustainable development. This study also finds the efforts. The efforts are needed to convince institutions and people. Such as local governments, SOEs, the private sector, and the community. The Green Economy and Blue Economy are the right models for realizing sustainable development in the long term.
