Defense study on Indonesian nickel processing

Abstract

Abstract This paper examines nickel processing in Southeast Sulawesi and Central Sulawesi with a defense approach. This paper uses qualitative research with supported by literature review. Indonesia’s nickel processing in Southeast Sulawesi and Central Sulawesi is dominated by China and benefits China to support China’s industrialization. The processing projects include One Belt One Road by prioritizing China’s national interests over Indonesia’s national interests. This study is one of the few academic research papers on nickel processing related to defense studies.
