Abstract
Abstract
Intensive aquaculture businesses that have large areas with certain work environment characteristics need to implement policies to ensure occupational safety and health (OSH). One of the stages in the OSH management system that must be implemented is monitoring and evaluation. Geographic Information Systems (GIS) enables spatial representation of data to support monitoring and evaluation. This research was carried out to develop integrated system of OSH risk of an aquaculture enterprise into GIS. Methodology employed was data collection, hazard identification and risk analysis (HIRA), and geospatial mapping and data integration. The results presented the implementation of OSH risk analysis within the GIS, as GIS providing locations of potential hazards from work activities with their corresponding risk levels.
