Abstract
This paper describes the determination of morphological properties of commercially available flexible polyurethane foams and the relationship between such properties and cell count. Among several morphological properties of foams, the present study focused on the cell area,
the equivalent circle diameter and the aspect ratio (ratio of length to width). A significant linear relationship was established between the cell count and both the cell area and the equivalent circle diameter, but no obvious trend was observed with the aspect ratio.
