Abstract
α‐dense curves allow to “densify” the space Rn with a precision α. These curves can be expressed by means of a single variable. When applied to an optimization problem depending on n variables they lead to a new optimization problem according to a single variable. In this paper, we propose classes of α‐dense curves allowing to decrease the necessary calculation time for obtaining a global optimum. An estimation of this calculation time is given for the Alienor method.
