Abstract
An integrating model which, based on a review of the most recent
theoretical and empirical studies, offers an overall view of the factors
affecting the adoption of Advanced Manufacturing Technologies (AMTs) is
presented. The model is intended to be a base for the managers′ analysis
of the implementation of AMTs, and enables the four areas affecting
adoption (Industry, Firm, Technology and Supply) to be approached in a
more integrated way.
