Abstract

Introduction Titanium exhibits clear passivity in an aqueous medium, owing to the formation of different types of titanium oxides with very low specific conductance especially titanium dioxide. These oxides act as a barrier between the surface of a titanium electrode and the active ionic species in the solution.
