Abstract
Discusses the implementation of engineering data management (EDM)
which is one of the more recent technologies to be considered by
enterprises needing to be more responsive to business pressures.
Highlights the considerations for a successful implementation stressing
the need for companies to learn from the mistakes and success of others.
Only a timely and efficient implementation will realize the benefits of
EDM.
