Abstract
Dentistry has advanced considerably in recent decades, standing out especially in the field of restorative dentistry with the development of techniques and materials that optimize clinical results and prolong the durability of restorations. Among these advances, immediate dentinal sealing has become a crucial technique to improve the effectiveness of indirect dental preparations. This study reviews the current literature on immediate dentinal sealing, analyzing its impact on reducing postoperative sensitivity, preventing bacterial infiltration and improving the adaptation of restorations. Neutrosophia is used to model and analyze the uncertainty associated with the various factors that can influence the effectiveness of immediate dentinal sealing. The methodology includes a review of recent studies and the use of multi-criteria decision methods to evaluate the performance of immediate dentinal sealing in different clinical contexts. The results obtained from a neutrosophic decision matrix show that immediate dentin sealing has a positive impact on the reduction of sensitivity, the adaptation of the restoration and the prevention of bacterial infiltration, with a favorable relationship between cost and benefits. benefits of the procedure. However, questions remain about the consistency of these benefits and the clinical variables that may influence their effectiveness, highlighting the need for continued research to optimize the use of this treatment in clinical practice
