Legal and financial preparation of Ecuadorians based on studies on economic insolvency

Abstract

At present, the synergy between legal and economic issues is being strengthened in Ecuador. Sometimes there is ignorance on the part of the population when there is economic insolvency when it comes to cashing checks. The objective of this research is to show necessary elements to raise the financial and legal culture of the Ecuadorian population. This is achieved by presenting the legal shortcomings that persist in terms of economic insolvency in Ecuador from the Cheques Law. The inductive-deductive method was used, with a qualitative approach and the critical hermeneutical method. Normative criteria for the protection of creditors and debtors are presented, as well as key points to increase the financial and legal preparation of the Ecuadorian population.
