Abstract

The aim of the research is to explore the impact of e-learning on teaching practice. The approach used was a qualitative systematic literature review; consulting academic literature. There are numerous coincidences that teachers faced in the context of the health emergency: the need for self-training, lack of digital competences and emotional afflictions. The new normality conditions a trend towards a more digital education and it is time for a new transition where technology must be incorporated into Peruvian schools as a necessary tool for the learning process. In the future, changes must be made in teacher training. Teachers need to have the knowledge about teaching methodologies and the use of technologies to move from face-to-face to online teaching as a way to innovate and adapt to the new demands of learning today.
