Bronchiectasis and sino-nasal disease: a review

Abstract

AbstractThe ‘one airway’ model for upper and lower respiratory tract disease is a concept gaining increasing momentum in both respiratory medicine and otorhinolaryngology. The specific common aetiology and pathophysiology of concomitant bronchiectasis and sino-nasal disease, such as chronic rhinosinusitis, are discussed here, as well as the clinical manifestations, along with a review of all the relevant literature in the field.
