Abstract
Orientatractis leiperi n.sp. (Atractidae) is described, from the intestine of a South American tortoise. It is characterised by a cephalic armature of remarkable symmetry and complexity and by the presence of 3 tripartite structures in the anterior end of the oesophagus.
