Abstract
AbstractLobatostoma hanumanthain.sp. is described from the intestine of the carangidTrachinotus blochifrom Bay of Bengal. It anatomical characters are compared with previously described species in the genus. This is the first record of an aspidogastrean from marine fishes of the Indian region.
