Abstract
ABSTRACTAscorbic acid levels were found to be closely related to different stages of growth and maturity ofAvitellina centripunctata, Moniezia expansa, andStilesia globipunctatafrom goats and sheep and ofRaillietina echinobothridafrom fowl. The ascorbic acid level in avian parasites was higher than that in mammalian. The level was highest in immature proglottides and lowest in gravid proglottides.
