Abstract

1. An investigation of the helminth parasites of the African Darter, Anhinga rufa rufa in Ghana produced the following trematodes and cestodes:(1) Strigea anhingae n.sp.(2) Diplostomum ghanense n.sp.(3) Phagicola bulbosa n.sp.(4) Clinostomum tilafiiae Ukoli, 1966(5) Clinostomum phalacrocoracis Dubois, 1931(6) Echinorhynchotaenia tritesticulata Fuhrmann, 1909The new species are described and classified in this paper.
