Abstract
Demehenko & Hussein (1973) discussed some properties of nonlinear magneto-sonic waves in a collisionless plasma. The relevant equation describing the space dependence x of the magnetic field may be written in the form
d2y/dx2+f(y) = 0, (1)
where f(y) is a nonlinear function of y only.
