Abstract

AbstractSticky traps baited with (Funemone cis-8-dodecenyl acetate or (Codlemone trans-8,trans-10 dodecadien-1-ol) were operated in plum orchards in Cambridgeshire, England, from 1974 to 1976. In addition to large numbers of the target species Cydia funebrana (Treitschke), males of 24 other tortricids were captured. These included species of Cnephasia, Celypha, Epiblema, Pammene and Cydia. As an aid to the correct identification and interpretation of trap catches, details are given of the more important species attracted by the pheromone baits.
