Abstract
AbstractThe taxonomy of species in the braconid subfamily Microgastrinae that parasitize the larvae of Diatraea in the New World is reviewed and a brief diagnosis of each species provided. Apanteles fredi sp. n. is described from Guatemala and its relationships discussed. Information on the distribution, host associations and range in variation of species is provided, along with a revised and illustrated key to facilitate their identification.
