Abstract
SummaryAneurysmal dilatation is a rare malformation of the arterial duct. Successful repair of this anomaly was achieved in a five-day-old neonate, using deep hypothermia and circulatory arrest. Of the cases of aneurysm of the arterial duct reported in the English literature, only seven have been treated surgically with success.
