Abstract
SUMMARY:During the past decade a number of reports have appeared suggesting that alterations in GABAergic transmission may play a role in the symptoms of a variety of neurosychiatric disorders (Enna, 1980; Enna and Maggi, 1979). In the present communication, some of the evidence supporting this contention will be
briefly summarized and reviewed.
