Abstract
SummaryIn this article, the authors argue that, given that there is now strong evidence to the effect that acid rain from the United States has caused and is causing damage in Canada, the United States must bear responsibility for this damage at international law. The principal consequence of U.S. responsibility is that the United States must take decisive steps to prevent further damage caused by acid rain in Canada.
