Abstract
A new subtribe Pseudometrioxenina Legalov, subtrib. nov. with type genus Pseudometrioxena Legalov, gen. nov. and a new genus: Pseudometrioxena Legalov, gen. nov. with type species Metrioxena decisa Pascoe, 1885 are described. Pseudometrioxenina subtrib. nov differs from the subtribe Metrioxenina in the rostrum in males with long erect setae ventrally, the femora always lacking tooth and metatibiae almost straight in males. Pseudometrioxena gen. nov. differs from the genus Vladimirixena Legalov, 2009 in the femora with tooth and the elytra lacking longitudinal carinae. A key to subtribes of the tribe Metrioxenini is given.
